Autarky is an excellent choice for natural feeders on a budget. their range of dry foods are produced to high standards and are available at a fraction of the cost of the big natural brands.autarky's ingredients list is very impressive, especially at such a low cost. the adult chicken variety contains a respectable 26% of good quality chicken meal. it also includes an excellent array of top end natural ingredients including vegetables, fruits and a wide range of nutritious herbs.unfortunately, the grain content doesn't quite meet the same high levels. the food's first (and therefore most abundant) ingredient is maize and additional maize gluten (listed as prairie meal) is also added to top up the protein levels. maize and maize gluten are highly contentious ingredients that some nutritionists have linked with dietary intolerance in dogs.a bag of autarky comes in at about half he price of the major british natural dry foods and with fairly low recommended feeding amounts, the price per day is amongst the lowest around.conclusion:a good quality, natural food at an unbeatable price.
