Borage Oil

Borage oil is extracted from the seeds of the borage plant and is one of the richest known plant sources of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an omega-6 fatty acid. GLA has anti-inflammatory properties and is thought to support healthy skin and coat condition. It is sometimes included in dog foods and supplements designed for dogs with skin complaints or allergies. Borage oil is generally considered safe for dogs in appropriate amounts.
